Recon units are versatile light infantry that serve as the basis for N51 combatants. One sequence involved N51 Assassins facing off against OC characters within the "M.E.A.T" Sector, and another being a large-scale battle in the "Residental" Sector, where all N51 Units besides the Assassin made an appearance. In December 2021, Jsoull revealed a couple scenes from the movie which featured N51. By the end of the preview, an armored N51 convoy has mobilized from their headquarters and is shown converging on the city, focusing on a massive central tower known as the Megaplex.
In the MAXIFICATION 2 trailer 'Commencement', N51 is revealed to be in full cooperation with AAMO, as both are preparing for a full scale assault on Nexus City. This supposedly allowed AAMO to access the other place and acquire the artifact using Hell's Gate. Close examination of a document inside the briefcase reveals that N51 had raided a Nexus facility prior to the animation, and that critical documents and information recovered from their mission were delivered to AAMO as part of a predated arrangement.
There, an N51 humvee arrived to meet these scouts, and after securing the area, they handed off a briefcase to AAMO. N51 appeared again in the Maxification universe during the intro to Madness: Artifact, where they met up with two AAMO scouts in a nondescript location. A poster in the AAHW facility implied that they are related to the MERCs, however this may be false information due to the stark contrast between the two organizations.
After they eliminated the mercenaries and acquired the keycard, the officer of the group exchanged the keycard to Dr. When the mercenaries split up into two teams, N51 ambushed and outflanked the first team, and then defeated the second team by closing them off in a pincer attack. After an unnamed group of mercenaries acquired the keycard from the AAHW, N51 operatives set out to eliminate this team and retrieve it.
