All in all this site has a large amount of world building features. There are even more tools like the random dungeon generator, inn generator, and even town generator. On top of the Fractal World Generator on their site, the site contains a fantasy name generator, calendar generator, a secondary world generator that utilizes different tools from the fractal world generator and places names and hex grids on top the maps that it generates. Check out my most recent creation using this generator. Color can also be changed on the map as well but I personally like the default Atlas theme for the map that they have and I usually always use the square setting. With this map generator Dungeon Masters are able to change the shape of the map as well as dictate the amount of water to land and ice to land. The one I use the most from this site is the Fractal World Generator. The Map Builder when then ask you to choose whether you want a Grid & Tile or Freeform Image level.Donjon is an incredible site that has all sorts of world building tools. The first step in creating a map is to add a level, which can be done by clicking the button on the lower left of the Map Builder. Take a look at list of pre-created maps here or start a new map here. This means that you can build up a list of items, such as character tokens, monster tokens, area of effect markers, or miscellaneous spell effects, that are right at your fingertips to add into thw action as you go through your map. Any Custom Items you have added to the map in the Map Builder are also available for placement.

In the Map Viewer you can add effects like Fog for a more atmospheric experience. You can then display your map to your players through a computer (hooked up to your TV, projector, or futuristic holographic gaming table) and walk them through your map without spoiling everything immediately. Awesome Map! But oh no! Players can see every room and now it's spoiled!
